There are many agencies and websites that provide free, practical advice that can really help. Parenting today is becoming ever more challenging, so don’t feel bad about getting advice from the experts.

Good Sources of Information:

Wired Safety A large US based resource for eSafety and parenting news, articles and resources.
Google Safety Tools Instructions how to configure Google and YouTube to provide only safe and filtered search results.
UKCCIS This UK government organisation reports directly to the UK Prime Minister and offers advice and policy steering on internet child safety.
Thinkyouknow.co.uk This site offers great advice for children, parents and teachers about how to have fun online - but stay safe. The site covers games, mobile phones, chat, social networking and more.
NSPCC The NSPCC is dedicated to stopping cruelty to children. The web site offers advice and publishes the free Childline number for children to call as well as the NSPCC helpline.


If you discover inappropriate Images or behaviour

Internet Watch Foundation The IWF is where you can report illegal content, specifically child sexual abuse content (hosted on websites worldwide) and criminally obscene and incitement to racial hatred content (hosted on websites in the UK).
CEOP As part of the UK police, the centre is dedicated to protecting children from sexual abuse wherever they may be. You can contact them to report abuse.
